About Amy Rose
Amy Rose Traynor grew up in Buffalo NY, where she developed a love of acting and singing, and studied Musical Theater in college (both at SUNY Fredonia and The New York State Theater Institute). After moving to NYC with her husband, she dabbled in community and dinner theater, while raising two children and pursuing a career as a freelance writer, podcaster, and blogger, blazing a trail as an online influencer before that was a thing.
With her children grown and her writing career not satisfying her creative itch, she enrolled in classes and threw herself back into acting full time. Since she started auditioning in 2024, she’s had roles in more than two dozen films, TV shows, commercials, and an upcoming Netflix series.
Amy can solve a Rubik’s Cube in about a minute, bakes amazing croissants, and knows all the words to REM’s “It’s the End of the World As We Know It.”
